A unified ticketing system, which operates today in the metro and at the Moscow Central ring (MCK) can be extended to travel on the Skytrain — the Moscow Central diameter, said RIA Novosti in the press service of the Moscow Department of transport.

We are talking about a new branch of Skytrain connecting the radial rail routes, which may appear in Moscow by the end of 2018 — beginning of 2019. The project was presented to Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday, and the President supported him. The head of Russian Railways Oleg Belozerov said Thursday that the draft of the new surface subway in Moscow was estimated to require 25-30 billion rubles from the funds of Russian Railways and of the city.

«There will be minimal headways and a unified ticketing system with convenient transfers to other modes of transport. On the existing railway infrastructure will be organized a completely new passenger service without the cancellation of existing suburban trains. Standard superior services will approach the ICC and the Moscow metro», — reported in Department.

As noted in Department, in the train «Moscow Central diameters» (IDC) will establish a navigation and various passenger services such as Wi-Fi, outlets for charging phones.
