Czech President Milos Zeman, who will be in Russia from 20 to 24 November, intends to discuss with President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, the futility of sanctions, as the West and the Russian response. This was the terrestrial said Thursday, speaking on TV Barrandov.

Earlier, a source in the office of the President of the Czech Republic told RIA Novosti that Zeman’s invitation to Putin to visit Russia on an official visit from 20 to 24 November. In Sochi on 21 November, head of the Czech Republic will take Putin, the next day in Moscow will host a meeting of Zeman and Medvedev will host a forum with participation of Russian and Czech entrepreneurs. In addition, Zeman will visit on November 23 Yekaterinburg, where there will be another Russian-Czech business forum.

The head of Zeman accompanying business delegation, the President of the Union of industry and transport Jaroslav Hanák said RIA Novosti that the trip with the President of the Czech Republic sent more than 130 executives from leading companies and enterprises of the Republic. While Hanák emphasized that such a large and representative delegations accompanying the leaders of the country abroad, for nearly a quarter century of the independent existence of the Czech Republic was not.

«Sanctions, of course, interfere with trade. I have repeatedly said that they are meaningless. Those who declared the EU a response from Russia. I will speak about this during talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. And again I want to make it clear that oppose the sanctions,» — said Zeman.

The Czech President reminded that Andrew Babish, to which Zeman has instructed the formation of a new government after the October parliamentary elections, also expressed disagreement with anti-Russian sanctions, considering them useless.

«I would like to Prime Babish was active (in this issue), but the activity opens on the so-called European Council, which brings together the Prime Ministers of all countries-members of EU», — said Zeman.
