The former Governor of the Odessa region and the ex-President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili said that in Odessa unknown persons attacked its driver.

«After the last month in Georgia deported all of my guards and a journalist who accompanied me and covered my activities, I was left with only my driver Vladimir. He took me and helped with the housework. Tonight two strangers met near his house and severely beaten. Vladimir says that he learned two parked cars that normally go for us, and he always considered them to be machines of the SBU, and two of the attackers were sporty and clearly was waiting for him at the door,» — wrote Saakashvili in Facebook.

The wife of the driver called in the policy from Odessa, they called an ambulance and the police while at the hospital, Vladimir was diagnosed with a severe concussion. Saakashvili believes that the authorities «removed» thus his entourage.

Earlier the ex-Governor had already announced the kidnapping in Kiev, his people. According to the politician, at the end of October, armed men kidnapped the former head of his security, George Rubashvili, and his colleagues David Makishvili and Michael Abzianidze stopped communicating. He later reported that they were arrested and deported to Georgia.

Deprived of Ukrainian citizenship Saakashvili on 10 September with the support of the supporters broke through the cordon of guards and law enforcement officers at the checkpoint «shehyni» and got on the territory of Ukraine from Poland. The court found him guilty of illegally crossing the border and fined.

Saakashvili left Georgia after the inauguration of the new President George Margvelashvili in November 2013. The chief Prosecutor’s office of Georgia in absentia brought to it charges in several criminal cases, including the embezzlement of five million dollars.
