Construction of the first phase of Skytrain in Moscow will cost about 40 billion rubles, said the mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin.

«Pre — (first) — about 40 billion rubles. Costs will be split between the Moscow government and Russian Railways», — he wrote in a blog on his website.

We are talking about a new branch of Skytrain connecting the radial rail routes, which may appear in Moscow by the end of 2018 — beginning of 2019. The head of Russian Railways Oleg Belozerov reported on 16 November that the project of a new ground station in Moscow will require from Railways, and from city spending 25-30 billion rubles.

Earlier it was reported that the project of Moscow authorities and Russian Railways «Moscow Central diameters» (IDC) to establish through railway communication cities in the Moscow region through the center of the capital on 15 November approved President Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
