MGIMO has become the first University in Russia, Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the BRICS countries, which received 5 stars in the international QS Stars rating, said the press service of the institution.

«The results of the audit conducted by the international rating Agency QS Quacquarelli Symonds in 2017, the University became the first University not only in Russia but also in the regions of Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia and BRICS, to be awarded such a high rating», — stated in the message.

The University explained that the company QS audit evaluates universities on four key groups, which include 12 sub-groups, in turn consisting of more than 50 indicators. In each subgroup the University is awarded from 1 to 5 stars, which subsequently displays the total score. Only 62 institutions in the world have 5 stars QS Stars, among them Harvard, Oxford, Yale, Princeton and Stanford, the University of Pennsylvania and Cornell University, members of the world top-5, top-10 and top-20 international ranking of QS.

«The strongest indicator of MGIMO, according to experts QS, is its relationship with employers and the employment of graduates where the University scored the maximum points,» said the University.
