The presidential Council on human rights (HRC) adopted an expert conclusion on the draft law on mass media-«foreign agents», on Monday this document will be sent to the presidential administration and the Federation Council, told RIA Novosti the Chairman of the Council Mikhail Fedotov.

Earlier, the head of the HRC reported that the Council will review the draft media law-«foreign agents», as soon as it is available in the database of the state Duma, and prepare an expert conclusion, which will be presented to the head of state and Parliament.

«The document has already been adopted by majority of votes. Today it will be sent to the presidential administration and the Federation Council. And, of course, representative of the HRC tomorrow will take part in the meeting of the relevant Committee of the Federation Council,» — said Fedotov RIA Novosti on Monday.

On Sunday, the HRC member Tamara Morshchakova said that the Council prepared an expert conclusion on the draft law on mass media-«foreign agents», which human rights activists have criticized the gross violation of the procedure of the bill and the uncertainty of the contained concepts, which allows to arbitrarily pursue and apply this law to all media.

Earlier Monday, the head of the Federation Council Committee on constitutional legislation Andrei Klishas told RIA Novosti that the Committee will invite to its meeting on Tuesday, the head of the HRC, if you get by the time the appeal Board of the media law-registered as a foreign agent.
