Representatives of the Russian and British business on November 28-29 to discuss the prospects of mutual cooperation at the III business forum «Combining growth potential» organized by the RF Ministry of economic development, trade representation and the Russian Embassy in the UK.

The two-day forum program includes such topics as the impact of Brexit on the Russian-British economic dialogue, financial sector development, investment and business climate in Russia. About his participation in the conference was declared by representatives of leading Russian and British companies, the members of the Parliament of the United Kingdom, heads of some Russian regions and heads of business associations, heads of public and private companies, young business leaders.

«The forum became an authoritative platform for discussion of representatives of the business establishment of the two countries. This year the forum has a more rich agenda and a more representative delegations covering industry from Finance to promproizvodstva. Registration exceeded 400 people, and we see great interest of the British representatives are not only large but also small and medium business», — told RIA Novosti trade representative of Russia in great Britain Boris Abramov.

According to the trade mission, in 2017 the trade turnover between Russia and great Britain grew for the first time in the last three years. «In the first half of the year the trade turnover increased by more than 20%. Moreover, among the countries-partners of Russia, the United Kingdom remains one of the leaders in the field of trade in services,» — said Abramov.

The annual event, designed to expand and develop economic relations between the two countries and trade-investment cooperation of Russia with the international business community, will be held in the conference center of the Queen Elizabeth II Centre in London.
