Paintings of Pablo Picasso and Claude Monet from the art collection of Peggy and David Rockefeller put up for auction at Christie’s auction house in the spring of 2018, according to the website of the auction.

Pearl for sale collection is the painting «the rose period» Picasso «Nude girl with basket of flowers», its value is estimated at $ 70 million. In addition, the auction will feature paintings by French artists Claude Monet, Henri Matisse and Edouard Manet.

All proceeds from the sale funds will be transferred into the Rockefeller charities. According to media reports, the auction will be unprecedented among ever held charity auctions.

Before the sale of the paintings will be exhibited in Hong Kong, London and Los Angeles.
