The investigation into the death of a pianist of the Irkutsk regional Philharmonic Michael Klein led the health Committee of the region to the conclusion that the doctors did not have the chance to save the musician, said the Deputy Minister of health of the Irkutsk region Elena Golenetsky.

Earlier it was reported that the honoured artist of Russia Michael Klein died in Irkutsk on 3 October during the creative evening, dedicated to the 220th anniversary of St. innocent. According to those present at the concert the head of the Department of culture of Irkutsk Vitaly Baryshnikov, 40 minutes before arrival «first aid» of the musician was trying to save, making him a cardiac massage. Timely resuscitation, according to the witness, could have saved Klein’s life.

After the incident, the Ministry of health of the Irkutsk region conducted an investigation, the results of which are announced Golenetsky at the briefing.

«In this situation, the ambulance arrived later than expected. The situation is analyzed, disassembled, senior doctors of the shift, the paramedic issued a disciplinary sanction. But even if they arrived after three minutes to save the man failed,» — said the Deputy Minister of the region.
