The music world lost one of the most respected and beloved artists, said RIA Novosti in the Milan theater «La Scala» in connection with the death of the Russian Opera singer Dmitri Hvorostovsky.

Hvorostovsky died Wednesday morning in London after a long illness. At the end of June 2015, the singer, for many years lived in London, announced that she was suffering from a brain tumor.
