The Metropolitan Opera will dedicate four upcoming concert in memory of the Russian singer Dmitri Hvorostovsky, who departed this life on Wednesday, reported RIA Novosti the representative of the Opera theatre of new York.

Friday, November 24, at the Metropolitan Opera will be performed a work for soloists, choir and orchestra «Requiem» by Giuseppe Verdi. This program is under the direction of conductor James Levine and soloists of Krassimira Stojanovic, Ekaterina Semenchuk, Alexander Antonenko and Ferruccio Furlanetto will be executed also 27, 29 November and 2 December.

«Dmitry was one of the greatest, a true artist at all times,» said the General Manager of the Metropolitan Opera Peter Gelb.
