The CEC of Russia has determined how to inform voters about candidates in the presidential elections of 2018, including approved informational poster that will be posted at the polling stations.

The Central election Commission on Wednesday adopted a decree on measures to ensure informing the voters about the registered candidates for the presidency. Secretary of the CEC, Maya Grishina at the meeting recalled that the law establishes a number of mandatory publication of information about the candidates, they are published in equal volumes at different stages of the election campaign.

She clarified that the adopted set of measures on informing about candidates is only one of the segments inform voters about the elections in General. Work on information about applicants includes the publication of biographical data, information on income and expenditure of candidates and their spouses, information regarding foreign assets and transactions.

According to the document, the pictures on informpechat will be in color, photos all candidates must be of the same size. These information posters in territorial and precinct election commissions should be not later than 30 days before election day, in exceptional cases, the precinct election Commission places a poster not later than 20 days before election day.

Also in the decision of the Central election Commission set the deadline for placing information about the candidates on the CEC website and in the media. For information about the candidates and their nominating parties, the election commissions free of charge use state and municipal media.
