The CEC of Russia will return to the budget of almost 8 million rubles left over after the additional elections to the state Duma in Bryansk and Kingisepp single-member districts in September of this year.

Deputy head of the CEC of Russia Nikolay Bulaev reminded that the preparation and holding of the September elections to the state Duma of the Federal budget allocated more of 92.9 million rubles. Electoral commissions of the two regions which passed the by-election received more than 83.6 million rubles, or 90% of the total amount; to exercise the powers of the CEC in preparing the elections was laid 9.3 million rubles.

«On the preparation and conduct of elections spent from the Federal budget of 85 million 38.6 thousand rubles. The unused balance of the Federal budget amounted to 7 million 957 thousand roubles, and in accordance with the law will be returned to the Federal budget,» said Bulaev at the meeting of the CEC.

Expenses of election commissions Bryansk and Leningrad regions amounted to a total of 78.6 million rubles (92,5% of the total expenditure on the elections). The share of expenditures of the Bryansk election Commission has 48.1 million rubles of the election Committee of Leningrad region — 28,7 million roubles. Expenses of the CEC in the preparation of these elections amounted to about 6.8 million rubles.

Deputy head of the CEC said that the largest item of expenditure was wages of members of electoral commissions — 69.1 million rubles. Bulaev said that this ratio is approximately the same in elections at the Federal level: 80-90% of the costs accounted for by salaries of members of precinct election commissions. For the production of printed products, the ballots during elections in the two districts spent 2.1 million rubles.
