In the Russian Orthodox Church spoke about the number of participants in the Synod of bishops, which will take place in Moscow under the chairmanship of Patriarch Kirill, from 29 November to 4 December.

The Cathedral, dedicated to the celebration of the restoration of the Patriarchate in the Russian Orthodox Church, will be held in Moscow in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior.

«Presents will be all the countries of the canonical presence of the Russian Orthodox Church Japanese Orthodox Church» — said at a press conference in MIA «Russia today», Deputy Manager of Affairs of the Moscow Patriarchate Archimandrite Savva (Tutunov).

In turn, the Deputy Chairman of the Department for external Church relations of the Moscow Patriarchate Archpriest Nikolay Balashov told about what the international level will be presented to the Council.

«We estimate that at the Council, except Russia, will be attended by bishops from 22 countries, this is speaking about the location of their residence», — he said.

In addition, the Cathedral will be attended by bishops from Ukraine. The vast majority of them have confirmed their participation in the upcoming Cathedral.
