The budget of Yakutia 2018 will be socially oriented; throughout the social issues in the project of the main financial document of the Republic there are more than 81 billion rubles, said the head of Yakutia Egor Borisov

«The budget in 2018 will be socially oriented. To the extent possible, we will focus on raising wages. The salary increase, which next year will affect about 58 of thousands of state employees, Yakutia an additional $ 8.9 billion. On wages to workers of budgetary sphere are provided to 74.7 billion rubles, which is 43% of the total budget structure,» — said Borisov.

According to him, only to solve social challenges in the coming year will be allocated more than 81 billion rubles. Direct payments for the development of education, health, culture, sports, labour market and employment, the implementation of youth and family policy, social support of the population. It also includes the provision of housing to orphans, construction of Yakutsk Republican oncological dispensary and new schools.

To improve the quality of life of the population is laid 15% of the budget of 26 billion rubles. These funds will be used for the construction of housing, provision of utilities and keeping rates for the population in this area, on Northern delivery and environmental protection. In particular, in 2018 it is planned to complete the construction of water intake and water treatment facilities of the city of Yakutsk. Another 17.5 billion rubles will be allocated for the development of regional economy, primarily agriculture.

At the same time the filling of the revenue side of the budget «will have to work hard», said the head of the region. The government of the Republic should avoid the «cash shortages» due to a possible reduction in revenues from tax on profit of enterprises, in particular, due to the instability of the dollar, centralization of part of the income tax, increasing the tax burden of the petroleum industry in the form of a tax on the additional income and increasing the severance tax. However, in these conditions, Yakutia, which by the end of 2016 was included in the group of subjects of the Russian Federation with high quality management of regional finances, will try to keep this status, Borisov said.
