Vernissage of the exhibition «Kazimir Malevich. Not only the «Black square», which will showcase the early work of the Creator of Suprematism, and works from regional museums and private collections will take place on Thursday in hall «worker and collective farm girl» at ENEA, reported the press service of the exhibition.

The project includes works that demonstrate different facets of the works of the great masters, including those that do not quite fit into the already established audience perceptions of the personality and achievements of one of the most iconic artists of the last century, the report said. Part of the work, the Moscow audience will see for the first time.

«The black square» Malevich, becoming a recognized icon of the twentieth century, partly overshadowed other aspects of the heritage of the Russian avant-garde. Meanwhile great artist within the allotted him by fate with a small three decades of creative ways worked at full power: under the name of «Kazimir Malevich» acted like a posse of creators who managed to tell the first, and often the defining word in many spheres of artistic culture», — the press service quoted the curator of the exhibition Alexandra Shatskikh.

The exhibition includes works from regional museums — «the Mower» (1912) from the Nizhny Novgorod state art Museum, «Four square» (1915) from the Saratov state art Museum named after A. N. Radishchev, «Suprematism» of the Ekaterinburg Museum of fine arts and painting «living in a big hotel» (1913) from the Samara regional art Museum, the attribution of which ten years ago was a real detective investigation.

Visitors to the exhibition will see paintings of Malevich from the Russian and foreign private collections, including the collection of Valery Dudakov and Marina Kashuro («Three figures in a field»), Inge and Philip van den Hurk («Portrait of Elizaveta Yakovleva») and the Sepherot Foundation («Suprematism. Rectangle and circle»).

One of the discoveries of the exhibition will be known only to specialists «Winter landscape» (1929) from a private collection, will also reveal little-known heliogravures from «Commemorative album of the Moscow Art theatre» and «Patriotic prints» — printed posters and postcards, created by Malevich at the beginning of the First world war.

For General public the exhibition will open on 24 November and will last until February 25.
