Investigators in Novosibirsk opened a case for services that do not meet safety requirements after receiving a 13-year-old child burns to the face during a medical procedure at a local hospital, according to the website of the RF IC.

Earlier it was reported that the Novosibirsk investigators at the request of parents to check information about getting a 13-year-old child burns to the face when performing a medical procedure at a local hospital.

«A criminal case… evidence of a crime «rendering services not meeting requirements of safety of life or health of consumers», — stated in the message.

According to investigators, November 15, 13-year-old was in the physiotherapist’s office, where he carried out the procedure ultrahigh-frequency therapy apparatus for UHF-therapy with the use of eddy currents. During the procedure, the doctor explained that the child will feel a slight burning sensation, and left the office. However, the burning sensation intensified, and he suffered burns to the face 1-2 degrees.
