We can assume that Russia, Iran and Turkey formed a genuine coalition against terrorism, said the head of the Duma Committee on international Affairs Leonid Slutsky (LDPR), assessing the results of the previously held negotiations, the leaders of the three countries.

Presidents Vladimir Putin, Hassan Rouhani and Erdogan on Wednesday at the summit in Sochi adopted a statement in which, inter alia, called for further process of de-escalation in Syria, which began in the framework of the Astana process, confirmed the continuation of cooperation for the final defeat of the terrorists and supported a broad inter-Syrian dialogue.

«The summit in Sochi showed the unity of the approaches of Russia, Turkey and Iran to the Syrian settlement. In particular, it concerns the functioning of the zones of de-escalation in the context of preserving the sovereignty of Syria. We can assume that the three countries have created a genuine anti-terrorist coalition,» — said Slutsky.

The MP said that the mutual coordination of the three States for the final victory over the forces of international terrorism in Syria will continue.
