The chief Rabbi of Sevastopol participated in the most representative Jewish event — the Congress of the Chabad movement, which, however, has little interest in political issues, told RIA Novosti head of public relations Department of the Federation of Jewish communities of Russia (FEOR), Boruch Gorin.

The Rabbi of Sevastopol was previously officially submitted by the world Jewish Congress in new York as the «Rabbi Benjamin wolf. «It was a conference of emissaries of the Chabad movement. It really is the most representative event in the world, there are about 4.5 thousand rabbis from one hundred countries», — said Gorin.

He believes that the leaders of the movement is «not such a pressing issue, they are not so savvy in political processes in different countries». «On the agenda, as far as I know, this kind of questions (about the recognition of the Crimea Russia – ed.) there are,» added Gorin.

This movement, according to him, are completely different, not political, tasks. At the same time, Chabad, as noted by Gorin, constantly declares its readiness to work anywhere.» «It is important to understand that Chabad political geography of care in the least. They are not involved in political issues. Apparently, he (Rabbi wolf – ed.) were registered, so they wrote it» — says Gorin.
