Ex-Senator from Karelia devletian Alikhanov was sentenced to six years in a General regime colony and a fine for fraud, reported on the website of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

It is noted that the investigators failed to disclose developed by Alihanova criminal scheme for the acquisition on controlled entities 13 of privatized facilities owned by the administration of Petrozavodsk, in connection with which the city budget has suffered damage in especially large size.

«He was found guilty of a crime… «fraud»… the Verdict Alikhanov was sentenced to 6 years imprisonment in a penal colony with a fine in the amount of 700 thousand rubles, satisfied the injured civil lawsuit», — stated in the message.
