Chairman of the Association of freight carriers and forwarders of Crimea Anatoly Churkin has proposed to reconsider the principle of logistics of delivery of goods from mainland Russia.

According to him, today the main part of freight traffic falls on road transport.

«All goods, mainly driven to the Crimea machines. This is the easiest type of delivery, but not the cheapest. Within the rail and container transportation we have a shortage of shipping and the automobile – satiety. Of course, not enough transport, hence the high prices for transportation, which affects the ultimate cost of goods and products,» — told RIA Novosti the Curcin.

In this regard, the head of the Association offers, together with the government and all participants of transportation to expand opportunities to use other alternatives of cargo delivery to the Peninsula.

«If we are part of the traffic flow to shift on the rail or in container logistics, it is, of course, will lead to lower prices and establish the optimum cost of delivery of goods that are immediately reflected on the products on the shelves,» — said Churkin.
