More than 30 people hospitalized after explosion in China

More than 30 people were injured in the blast in the port city of Ningbo, East China’s Zhejiang province, all of them were hospitalized, information about the victims has not been confirmed, reports on Sunday morning, China Central television.

The explosion occurred in the Jiangbei district on Sunday around 9.00 am (4.00 GMT).

The scale of destruction is still unclear, a number of media published photos, which show that affected only one building standing near the cars, broken glass, scattered around dust and debris. In this channel, CGTN has published a 20-second video, which shows several destroyed buildings and mangled cars, and large pieces.

China Central television published a video showing the destroyed buildings from which rescue workers take out victims.

The cause of the incident still unknown, the scene 16 fire-fighting crews, rescuers and physicians. Law enforcement officers began an investigation.
