Russian President Vladimir Putin has dismissed Vladimir Dorokhin from the duties of Ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia in Azerbaijan, the corresponding decree published on the official Internet portal of legal information.

«Release Dorokhin Vladimir Dmitrievich of his duties, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Azerbaijan», — the document says.

According to information on the website of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Dorokhin was appointed Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan by the decree of the President dated 24 February 2009.
