As reported by RIA Novosti in the press service of the Krai government, the event was also attended by Deputy Minister of natural resources and ecology of the Russian Federation Ivan Valentine, head of the control TEK FAS Dmitry Makhonin, the Deputy of legislative Assembly of the Perm edge Alexander Boychenko, representatives of 17 regions of Russia. The meeting discussed issues on the implementation of exchange trading in timber in the region.

Currently, reminded in a press-service, the tariffs for accreditation for participation in exchange trading fell twenty times. From 100 thousand rubles in March 2017 up to 5 thousand rubles in October-November, thus, exchange trade becomes available for small and medium-sized businesses.

Perm region became the second region in Russia, where he started trading timber on the forest stock exchange. At a state Council meeting in may 2013 was commissioned to organise exchange trade in round timber.

Perm Krai 70% is covered by forests, the annual allowable cut is 19 million cubic meters. It is assumed that the Kama will be the benchmark of a civilized stock market, will demonstrate the effective management of natural resource.
