Premiere of the film by Alexei Uchitel «Matilda» in the framework of the Week of Russian cinema in Britain took place with the full house, painting the audience presented the Director and performers of the main roles of Mikhalina ol’shanskaya and Lars Eidinger.

Russian film week in Britain ends on Sunday. Shows paintings, workshops and meetings with the creative teams of the films took place in 16 venues in London, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Manchester and Oxford.

The film tells about the passion of the heir to the Russian throne — the future Emperor Nicholas II (played by German actor Lars Eidinger) is a ballerina Matilda Kshesinskaya, played by Mikhalina ol’shanskaya. Long before the film has caused a wide public resonance.

«I am pleased and the way took, and the fact that the crowded halls and up coming actors, with whom I worked. All coincided, and I’m very satisfied,» the Teacher said to RIA Novosti after the premiere.

The day before the Director was awarded the honorary prize of the festival — crystal unicorn for contribution to world art.

The festival, which takes place in Britain from October 19, opened with the screening of the film by Fyodor Bondarchuk «Attraction». Also at the festival was shown the tape «first Time» Dmitry Kiselev, «Large» Valery Todorovsky. Earlier, the General producer of the Russian film Week Philip Perkon said that almost all tickets for the shows were sold out. Director Alexey Uchitel sees this as an obvious contribution of the producer and his team who did a great job in preparing the festival.

«I think in recent years there have been a lot of interesting pictures, especially the last two years. I think that’s a good sign, Russian learned finally not only in Russia,» explained the Teacher.

The Board of Trustees of the festival from the Russian side included Directors Valery Todorovsky and Alexey Uchitel, and the British filmmakers Ralph Fiennes, Brian Cox, Elliot grove. Participation in the event involves more than 100 Directors, actors, producers. The General partner of the Russian film Week in Britain is the University «synergy».
