State Duma Deputy Adam Delimkhanov, representing the Chechen Republic, believes that the future of Chechnya is impossible without its current head, Ramzan Kadyrov.

Sunday in the program «actors with Naila Asker-zade» on TV channel «Russia 1» Kadyrov said he was ready to leave the post of head of the Chechen Republic, which he has held since 2007, as it believes that «it’s time». Kadyrov also said that it was practically his dream, because to be a leader in the region and be responsible before God, the leadership of the state and the people is very difficult.

«No, I can’t even think about the fact that Ramzan Akhmatovich can go. He’s not just running, it follows the path of Akhmad-Khadzhi Kadyrov, and for him the future of the Chechen people, without Ramzan Akhmatovich is impossible. So let him, the Almighty, long life,» said Delimkhanov RIA Novosti.

According to him, decent people and supporters surrounded by Kadyrov’s enough, «but none of them will be able to lead the Republic and to carry this heavy load.»

«Therefore, the head should be only Ramzan Akhmatovich, and we all others are his assistants, ready at any moment to carry out all his orders,» — concluded the Deputy.

This is not the first statement Kadyrov’s readiness to retire. In 2014, he said that he plans to ask the President to release him from the post of head of Chechnya to fight in the Donbass. Later, the press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov said that such appeals to the Kremlin has not been received. In 2015, the radio station «Moscow speaking» Kadyrov said that he had repeatedly requested his own resignation and is ready at any time to leave his post. In February 2016, before the election of the head of Chechnya, Kadyrov said that it is not going to stand for this post and is ready to transfer power to a successor from his team. In July 2017 in Telegram Kadyrov wrote that he was ready to voluntarily resign to protect the al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem.
