The programme to create new places in Russian schools in 2018-2020 is implemented with a large gap; additional funds allocated to the programme for the construction of schools, can close the problem only partially, said Deputy Minister of education and science Valentina Pereverzeva at the meeting of the budget Committee in the Federation Council.

«The demand in the regions is. She is confirmed. And it is absolutely fresh monitoring, which was held last week in the regions. The numbers that the program can be called, but they are terrifying. Backlog we have a very large. We are required to change the program because we have a backlog of plans do you have for 2016 and 2017,» said Pereverzev.

She recalled that in 2018-2020 72 regions of the Russian Federation will receive subsidies from the Federal budget for construction of schools.

«In the end we need to 74,5 billion rubles. This will give us the opportunity to introduce 122 576 places,» — said the Deputy Minister.

However, the monitoring applications from the regions of the Russian Federation for granting subsidies from the Federal budget in order to create new school places in 2018 – 2020 years, showed the need to create additional – 131 584 places in 2018, which will require 89,3 billion roubles; 253 941 place in 2019-2020, which would take 171 billion rubles.

«It is if you now consider treatment. We have 50 billion plus about 25.5 (billions more). In principle, we partially solve this problem. But again, partially,» said Pereverzev.
