The Polish foreign Ministry expressed protest in connection with the expulsion from Russia of the Polish scientist, a corresponding diplomatic note was sent to the Russian Ministry of foreign Affairs, said in a statement the Polish Ministry.

Earlier it was reported about the expulsion of Russia’s Institute of national remembrance of Poland (IPN) Henryka of Hlembotski. According to a source RIA Novosti, this was mirrored as in response to the expulsion in October of this year, Professor Novosibirsk state technical University Dmitry Karnaukhov.

«The Polish foreign Ministry protests the question of the expulsion of a Professor of Henryka Hlembotski from Russia. We are concerned about the incomprehensible decision of the Russian side on extradition were in a research trip to Moscow, the historian of the Jagiellonian University, and a fellow of the Institute of national memory Henryka of Hlembotski», — stated in the message of the Ministry.

It is noted that on Monday a diplomatic note on this issue was handed over by the Ambassador of Poland in Moscow Wlodzimierz Marciniak of the Russian foreign Ministry.

At the same time the Polish Ministry reiterated that the political dialogue between Russia and Poland «facing difficulties because of the unilateral activity of the Russian side». «It must be emphasized that the scientific activity of Professor Henryka of Hlembotski aimed at the normalization of relations between Poland and Russia», — said the Polish foreign Ministry.

On the expulsion of Hlembotski engaged in research in the field of Russian-Polish relations in XIX-XX centuries, earlier on its website said the Institute of national remembrance. Professor Karnaukhova sent from Poland on 11 October on the proposal of the internal security Agency of Poland. The Russian foreign Ministry reported that a Russian scientist lived in Poland since 2013, and taught at several local universities as well as collaborated with the Russian Institute for strategic studies.
