The Russian foreign Ministry confirmed the expulsion of an employee of the Institute of national remembrance of Poland (IPN) Heinrich Hlembotski. The office explained that the move is a response to the expulsion of a Russian scientist.

On the expulsion of Hlembotski engaged in research in the field of Russian-Polish relations in XIX-XX centuries, earlier on its website has told IPN. As told RIA Novosti informed source, the scientist was deported in response to the actions of Warsaw to the Professor of the Novosibirsk state technical University Dmitry Karnaukhov.

«I would like to remind you that on October 11 this year, the Polish authorities at the absurd charges sent from Poland to the Russian scientist-historian who was engaged there in teaching. The measures taken in respect of Hlembotski, are a response to this hostile act», — stated in the commentary official representative of the Ministry Maria Zakharova, posted on the Ministry website.

She added that Hlembotski November 25, left the Russian territory.

Poland expelled Karnaukhov at the request of the Agency of internal security of the country. He was accused of activities «with the elements of hybrid war», directed against the interests of Warsaw «in favor of the hostile state», as well as in contacts with the Russian special services and the conduct of Pro-Russian propaganda.

The Russian foreign Ministry then said that the actions Warsaw will not remain without the answer. According to authorities, the scientist lived in Poland since 2013, and taught at local universities and collaborated with the Russian Institute for strategic studies.
