Italian businessmen are pleased to work with partners in the North Caucasus, among the advantages which the benevolence and openness, told RIA Novosti honorary Consul General of the Italian Republic in southern Federal district and skfo Pierpaolo lodigiani.

In mid-November, diplomats and representatives of over 30 Italian companies visited North Ossetia, Chechnya and Dagestan in the framework of the project «Italy meets Caucasus» aimed at development of business relations between Italy and North Caucasian regions.

«With confidence I can say that all Italian entrepreneurs are satisfied with their projects and partners from the regions of the North Caucasus, I don’t know of anyone that is not satisfied. Of the benefits – the availability of skilled labour and raw materials, kindness and openness. The support of the leadership of the republics and regions of the North Caucasus», — said lodigiani on the results of the business mission.

According to him, through the work of the mission was able to identify the most interesting and promising areas of work in the field of construction, housing and utilities, agriculture, medicine and electricity. There is a high interest in the tourist development of the regions, said the Agency interlocutor.

As noted by the Consul, in Dagestan in the near future, before the next economic mission is planned opening of the visa center.

«In 2017, we have opened a visa center of Italy in Grozny. Work on the preparation and implementation of this project was carried out over three years. We plan to open in Dagestan in the near future, before the next economic mission,» said lodigiani.
