Defenders of the «Arab organization for human rights», based in the UK, have asked the international criminal court, accusing United Arab Emirates of war crimes in Yemen, reported Agence France-Presse with reference to the lawyer of the organization Joseph Braham.

According to the Agency, the organization accused the UAE, which is a member of the Arab coalition, providing military support to Pro-government forces in Yemen, «the unregulated attacks on civilians.»

Also the UAE are accused of using prohibited weapons and the involvement of hired soldiers for the implementation of torture, the Agency said.

In Yemen in 2014, continuing the internal conflict involving one side of the rebels from the Houthi Shiite movement «Ansar Allah» and those loyal to former President Ali Abdullah Saleh of the army, and on the other the government troops and militia loyal to current President Abd rabbu Mansour Hadi. A coalition of Arab States led by Saudi Arabia 2015 supports the authorities of Yemen in the war with the rebels.
