Businessman Sergei Polonsky, who announced his intention to run for presidential elections in 2018, intends to collect electronic signatures in support of his nomination, the process, according to him, will form the basis of an international Convention «Man — artificial intelligence».

Regular elections of the President of Russia will be held in March next year, the campaign is supposed to start in December.

«Electronic signatures in support of my nomination will be the basis of an international Convention «Man — artificial intelligence,» — said Polonsky RIA Novosti.

The interlocutor of the Agency noted that the international consultations on this subject already carried out.

«Convention «Man — artificial intelligence» should be based on international legal forms of regulation. Civil rights and freedoms protected by the platform, the blockchain should be guaranteed by the UN,» — said the businessman.

The chief of staff Polonsky, Maxim Shingarkin confirmed that electronic signatures will be based on the legislation of the Russian Federation. «Based on Russian legislation, we are preparing to collect signatures in support of our candidate,» said Shingarkin.
