Russian national orchestra (RNO) under the guidance of the eminent pianist and conductor Michael Pletnev has gone on tour to Europe, told RIA Novosti in the press service of the orchestra.

The performance of the Russian musical group will be held in France, Germany and Switzerland. The tour will run from 28 November to 2 December, said the press service of the orchestra.

Tour RNO will begin with performances in the Philharmonie de Paris on November 28. In the program — a symphonic poem «a Sad tale (Preludes to eternity)» Mieczyslaw karlowicz, Rhapsody on a theme of Paganini by Sergei Rachmaninoff and Symphony No. 2 by Alexander Scriabin. Pianist — soloist Nikolai Lugansky. This program will hear audiophiles Lucerne in Switzerland, where the concert will take place on November 30, and Geneva, where the RNO will perform on December 2.

The orchestra will also perform in the German capital on November 29. The concert, which will take place on the stage of the Berlin Philharmonic, will perform a Concert №1 for piano and orchestra by Maurice Ravel. Grand piano is a Lucas Debargue.
