Possible U.S. sanctions against the national debt of the Russian Federation may provide only short-term effect, the Central Bank was ready to use his tools if necessary, said the first Deputy Chairman of the Bank of Russia Ksenia Yudaeva.

The President of the United States Donald trump in August signed a law expanding the number of sectoral sanctions against the Russian economy. The document suggests that within six months (180 days) after its adoption, the US Congress will meet to discuss the possible expansion of restrictive measures on Russian debt.
