The police checked the hotel complex «Izmailovo» in the East of Moscow after an anonymous call about «mining», which had to evacuate more than 5 thousand people, the bomb threat was not confirmed, told RIA Novosti a source in the emergency services of the capital.

Earlier it was reported about the evacuation of the hotel about 4.5 thousand people because of an anonymous call of «mining» on the phone «02».

«At 11.15 checking the hotel complex «Izmailovo» is completed. The explosive device was not detected. Evacuated more than 5 thousand people», — said the Agency interlocutor.

A wave of telephone terrorism began in Russia on September 11. In the two months since the beginning of mass calls about the alleged bombs in 186 cities across the country was evacuated more than 2.3 million people, including more than a quarter of a million people in Moscow. In any case, the bomb threat was not confirmed. According to the Moscow Department of the FSB, a wave of anonymous calls covered 75 of the 85 regions of Russia. About 600 of these messages was in Moscow, nearly 100 in the Moscow region. According to the FSB, in Moscow alone, the damage from «mining» amounted to 150 million rubles.
