The main and backup crews of a new expedition to the International space station (ISS) on November 29 will pass the exams in Star city near Moscow, the cosmonauts will need to pull tickets and to cope with a range of emergency situations, told RIA Novosti in the cosmonaut training Center (TSPK).

In the exam made a situation that can occur in flight and are particularly dangerous for the crew — in particular, a fire on Board and depressurization. The ticket consists of two parts — for the commander and flight engineer. The content of the ticket (conditions of conducting a training flight) crew unknown: pulling the ticket, the astronaut gives a sealed envelope to the Commission and took a seat in the cockpit of the simulator.

Launch of manned spacecraft «Soyuz MS-07» 54/55 crew of expedition is scheduled for 17 December 2017. To ISS pending the astronaut of Roskosmos Anton shkaplerov, NASA astronaut Scott tingle and JAXA astronaut Norishige Kanae. The reserve consists of a cosmonaut of the Roscosmos Sergey Prokopiev, ESA astronaut Alexander Gerst and NASA astronaut Jeanette Epps.

Earlier, the participants of the primary and backup crews 54/55-y long expedition to the ISS — Shkaplerov, tingle, and Prokopyev and Gerst — are already successfully confirmed your skills on manual controlled descent in the simulator TS-7.

The simulator, located at the base of the centrifuge TSF-7, designed for practicing skills to manage the descent of the ship from orbit in manual mode in case of automation failure, performing the process of the return of the descent module with the astronauts to Earth. In this situation the crew must be ready for emergency action.

The centrifuge mimics a regular overload that occur when you return the lander to Earth. Driving it in manual mode, the operator must bring it into a predetermined landing area, without exceeding the allowable load and the allowable penalty — not more than 30 kilometers. It should be noted that regular descent from orbit is in automatic mode, and the transition to manual control is possible only as a result of an emergency situation. In the history of manned space flight such was not the case.
