Spanish foreign Minister condemned another missile test carried out by North Korea, calling it a «provocation» and demanded from that country to abandon its nuclear and missile programs.

«Spain strongly condemns another provocation by the Democratic people’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), which is to run yesterday, Tuesday, ballistic missiles,» — said in a statement the foreign Ministry of Spain.

The foreign Ministry said that the DPRK once again violated the resolutions of the UN Security Council, which require this country to abandon its nuclear and missile programs. «This irresponsible step, the next link in the long chain of threatening actions against the neighboring countries of the Pacific region and the international community as a whole», — said in a statement.

Spain demands the North Korean leadership «to put an immediate end to the unacceptable and provocative actions» and to respect international law.
