Russia and Egypt have agreed to expand relations in the military sphere and military-technical cooperation, said Russian President Vladimir Putin.

«We agreed to expand relations in military and military-technical spheres. First and foremost, in order to strengthen counter-terrorism capability of the armed forces of Egypt,» Putin said after talks with his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
