Media have reported victims of the earthquake in the South-East of Iran

At least 17 people were injured in the earthquake in the Kerman province in Southeast Iran, ISNA Agency reports citing local medical service.

«The last announced data on victims who received indirect injury (during flight) related to the earthquake, 17 people», — said the Agency head of the rescue service of Kerman province Mohammad Saberi.

In addition, as stated in the Iranian red Crescent, the earthquake had destroyed the walls of old houses.

As reported by the European Mediterranean seismological centre (EMSC), on Tuesday an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 occurred in the Eastern part of Iran. At the same time, the Iranian seismological center reported the earthquake of magnitude 6.2 in the surroundings of the village Hejduk in Kerman province, much of which lies in the desert.

In mid-November in Kermanshah province, on the border of Iran and Iraq, an earthquake occurred with magnitude of 7.2. Tremors were felt in other countries of the region, including Kuwait, the UAE and Israel. According to the latest data, the number of victims of earthquake has reached 620.
