The head of the Russian Union of Industrialists and entrepreneurs (RSPP) Alexander Shokhin considers that the business Ombudsman Boris Titov announced his intention to run for President of the Russian Federation, does not show a good result; Shokhin himself «ready to clap» Titov if he gets more than 1% of the vote.

«Our main candidate — Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, not Boris Titov. Mr. Titov has no mandate to represent the business itself. If he wanted this mandate to get it before to announce his extension, I ran to the business associations, and agreed on the key some moments», — said Shokhin journalists.

«And he was nominated by the Party of Growth, firstly, and secondly, it is official that allows him to position himself in the public space as a representative of business and freedom from any obligations towards their superiors,» he added.

«We are much more effective than directly trying to interact with the major candidate in presidents of Russia, seeking to take our suggestions than to use members of the administration, which is the Titov, to advance these proposals,» — said Shokhin.

«If Titov comes to the election and receive greater than 1%, I am ready to applaud him», — said Shokhin.

Regular elections of the President of Russia will be held in March 2018, the campaign is supposed to start in December 2017.
