Ukraine’s intention to investigate the construction of a bridge across the Kerch Strait together with Bulgaria, Georgia, Romania and Turkey, and calls for new sanctions are a continuation of anti-Russian hysteria, said the Deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Vladislav Gangar in an interview with RT.

The MP stressed that building work carried out «faster», and all the efforts of the Ukrainian authorities aimed at disrupting the project did not succeed.

«This statement of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine said that Kiev regime is in real agony,» he said. The MP added that such statements harm the image of Ukraine.

«Kiev continues its anti-Russian hysteria, once again exposing itself on the international stage in a bad light. But we don’t pay attention,» said Ganjar.

He also expressed doubts about whether the support of the Ukrainian initiative of the state of the black sea region. The MP drew attention that Turkey had previously criticized sanctions against Russia.

«The Kiev regime is to blame, that drove itself in an extremely adverse situation. Instead of solving internal political and economic contradictions, Ukraine is trying to harm our country», — concluded Hangar.

Earlier the public Prosecutor of Ukraine Yury Lutsenko reported about the intention to establish a joint investigation team of the black sea countries — Bulgaria, Georgia, Romania, Turkey and Ukraine — to investigate possible environmental violations during the construction of the bridge in the Crimea. He also said the possibility of imposing new sanctions against Russia because of the project.
