One of four injured in a traffic accident in Mari El Republic, in which 15 people died, has been discharged from hospital and continue treatment at home, said on Wednesday the office of public relations and information of head of the Republic.

The collision of a van and truck with trailer occurred on 16 November at approximately 17.30 GMT on the 64-m kilometer of the highway Yoshkar-Ola — Kozmodemyansk. According to the interior Ministry in the Mari El Republic, in result of road accident 15 persons were killed: the driver and the bus passengers, including a child. Four passengers were taken to hospitals in Yoshkar-Ola.

After admission all four were in intensive care units: a boy seven years of age, in Children’s Republican clinical hospital, a woman of 41 years, boy 17 years and girl 14 years in Yoshkar-Ola city hospital. Later 14-year-old girl was transported for treatment in Kazan. The twentieth of November, 17-year-old was transferred from intensive care to a regular ward.

«According to the Minister of health of the Republic of Mari El of Marina Panicaway, seven-year-old boy was discharged from the children’s Republican hospital and currently undergoing treatment at home under the dual supervision of the district pediatrician and the orthopedic surgeon of the Republican hospital. A woman ready to be discharged by the end of this week, she will continue treatment at home», — stated in the message.

The young man, according to the doctors, will remain in hospital for another two weeks — his condition is satisfactory, but requires time to recovery (now he lies on the hood). The girl’s condition in the hospital in Kazan, the doctors assessed as stable with positive dynamics, said the management.
