The circumstances of execution of Nicholas II and members of his family in the coming year that marks one hundred years since the killing will reflect multimedia’s historical Park «Russia — my story». This happens regardless of the time of completion of examinations of the «Yekaterinburg remains», said the Chairman of the Patriarchal Council for culture, Bishop mark Tikhon (Shevkunov).

«We are called to examine every single version (murder — ed.) and to provide them with peer review. We are deeply convinced that all the major versions, as if sometimes they may seem exotic or even difficult to understand, we need to dot the «I»… I can’t say whether next year it’s all complete, but, apart from this investigation some exposition, of course, will be devoted to the brutal, vicious death of the Emperor Nicholas II, and his children. Probably, it will need to speak to for the next year, in a tragic anniversary,» the Bishop told reporters.

Multimedia historical Park «Russia — my story» presents four exhibitions: «the Romanov dynasty 1613-1917», «Rurik 862-1598», «Russia — my story 1945-2016», «The great upheaval to a great victory 1917-1945». The project on creation of historic parks in the regions is implemented with the support of the Patriarchal Council for culture and the presidential administration. Parks there are in Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Stavropol, Volgograd, Ufa, Tyumen, Nizhny Novgorod and other cities. In total these exhibitions-parks will be opened in 25 regions of Russia.

«Ritual punishment» of the Bolsheviks

At the end of November in the Moscow Sretensky monastery hosted a conference «the murder of the Royal family: new examination and archival materials. Discussion.» It was attended by the Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Kirill, the higher clergy of the Russian Church, representatives of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, anthropologists, forensic scientists, historians and criminologists involved in the investigation of the murder of the family of Nicholas II.

«When the conference at the end someone from the audience asked us about this (version of ritual murder — ed.) then we said that most of our experts acknowledge that the murder of Nicholas II wore special, symbolic character. Were shot and killed, the Royal family, which itself was a symbol of the old Russia, which marked the end of a huge period in the life of the country, which was a symbol for many people, and the destruction of this symbol of course was not just another execution. Bolsheviks — eight people were shot Nicholas II, his wife, children, loved ones — this had a special character, I believe, the Bolshevik ritual of the retaliation,» — said Bishop Tikhon RIA Novosti.

According to him, the participants of the shooting wanted to deal, primarily, with the last Emperor. «Jurowski (Yakov Yurovsky, who led the firing squad — ed.) divided the roles of each, each had to shoot his victim, but when the smoke cleared, everyone saw that it fell to Nicholas,» Shevkunov said.

In his opinion, «everybody wanted to be regicides and dreamed about the glory», until the end of his life bragging about the fact that they «shot the king.» «Of course, it was for them a deeply important and symbolic,» — said the Bishop.

Psycho-historical examination

The investigation team, who led the study of the «Yekaterinburg remains» in the 1990-ies, has not appointed a psycho-historical examination. According to representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church, it became the cause of various controversial theories in a number of publications, many questions still remain unanswered, and «excite the minds». Today it is necessary to put a period at least at the expert level.

«When some historians or people who are passionate about any topic, Express their opinions is one thing. When attracted by the result of responsible experts, having given a subscription about a criminal liability for giving knowingly false evidence in the examination, embarking on this work, expert opinion gains a special meaning. That is why we have introduced a part of the historical and psychological examination of the Bolshevik ritual of retribution,» Shevkunov said.

Earlier, several media outlets have accused the Church and the result is that they’re considered popular in certain circles, the version of «ritual» murder of the Imperial family. The proponents of this theory believe that the Bolsheviks carried out a bloody religious ritual.

«We immediately explained that we will explore any and all of the version and reject the proposals of any one version take and to exclude from the whole complex of studies. At the same time we say no to xenophobic, racist and other such motives on the part of the expert community is not even close,» said said Tikhon.

«The Ekaterinburg remains»

Burial on the Old koptelovsky road near Yekaterinburg in the so — called Porosencova the log for the first time found a group of researchers in 1979, but to say publicly about it then no one. In July 1991, it was made the official opening of the graves, in which were the remains of nine people, and in 1993, the Russian Prosecutor General’s office opened a case about the death of the Romanov family. According to the investigation, found the remains belonged to the Imperial family — Nicholas II, his wife Alexandra Feodorovna, and their three daughters — Olga, Tatiana, Anastasia, Dr. Evgeny Botkin, and three servants — Anna Demidova, Aloisio company and Ivan Kharitonov. Bone fragments, presumably Tsarevich Alexei and the fourth daughter, Grand Duchess Maria were found during the archaeological excavations in 2007 (South of the first burial).

The investigations conducted in the 1990-ies, came to the conclusion about the authenticity of the «Ekaterinburg remains,» and in 1998 they were buried in the vault of the Romanovs in the Peter and Paul Cathedral in St. Petersburg. However, the Russian Church did not have answers to several questions (in addition, her request for additional examinations was not satisfied), therefore, has not recognized the results of the investigation. And in 2000 Nicholas II and his family members have been ranked the Russian Orthodox Church to the saints in the rank of martyrs.

Patriarch Kirill in November noted that the Church has a position on the research results «not yet formed» and will be developed on the bishops ‘ councils and the Holy Synod meetings. According to the Primate of the Russian Church, the investigation conducted in the 1990-ies, characterized by «the opacity of the research process and a complete unwillingness to admit into the Church.» «We were asked to accept and believe in the results of the research. Naturally, this Church was not satisfied,» — said the Patriarch. Now the mistakes of the past are already accounted for.
