The Federal reserve raised the interest rate to 1.25-1.5% 1-1 25% per annum, according to a press release from the organization.

The regulator’s decision coincided with forecasts of analysts, who had earlier questioned by RIA Novosti. World oil prices after news of the increase in rates continued their decline.
