In the case of Colonel Dmitry Zakharchenko completed investigative actions in three episodes, the official representative of SK of Russia Svetlana Petrenko.

«Completed investigations against the former Deputy head of the «T» Guebipk of the MIA of Russia Dmitry Zakharchenko on three counts of crimes dedicated from the main case to complete the investigation,» she said.

The accused and his lawyers have started acquaintance with criminal case materials, said Petrenko.

According to investigators, in 2014, Zakharchenko together with a partner has initiated audits of a number of businesses owned by the entrepreneur who supplies products and restaurant business, for bribery. The businessman reported Zakharchenko and his partner a bribe of 800 thousand U.S. dollars. While partners initially demanded 5 million dollars.

In 2015 Zakharchenko and his accomplice demanded from the same businessman a bribe in the form of a 50% discount card network of restaurants. Using the map, Zakharchenko has saved more than 3.5 million rubles. Also in 2016 Zakharchenko warned his friend of the impending search on criminal case about fraud and organized the collection of documents and office equipment to prevent the seizure.

In addition to large sums in various currencies, among the assets of the accused detected by the investigation and arrested by the court, – 27 real estate listings, including 12 apartments. Investigators establish the origin of the money. It can be argued that they obtained by illegal means, including bribes, said Petrenko.
