Kamchatka Karymsky volcano threw out on Friday a column of ash to a height of 2.5 km, reports regional EMERCOM.

«On the morning of 15 December …according to satellite data of the Kamchatka group volcanic eruption response (KVERT) Karymsky volcano recorded ash plume to a height of 2500 meters… With respect to the direction of the wind ash plume has spread to 50 kilometers in the Eastern direction from the volcano to the side of the Kronotsky Bay. According to the MOE, in the settlements of Kamchatskiy Krai, the ash fell. Tourist groups in the area of the volcano is not registered. Vulcan assigned «orange» aviation code of the danger.

The Karymsky volcano located in the Eastern part of Kamchatka Peninsula, 115 kilometers from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The height of the volcano — more than 1400 meters.
