The CEC of Russia will be equally careful to carry out all elective procedures in respect of all candidates, including the incumbent President of Russia Vladimir Putin, no concessions will not, said the head of the Central election Commission, Ella Pamfilova.

The members of the Federation Council on Friday adopted a resolution on the Russian presidential election, date of voting is 18 March 2018. The start of the election campaign will be given December 18. The desire to participate in elections have expressed already 23 people, including Russian President Vladimir Putin.

«No, it’s all within the law. Will likewise thoroughly checked and signatures, and all other procedures,» Pamfilova told reporters in response to a question whether the CEC concessions in favor of the incumbent.

According to her, the CEC will create equal conditions for all candidates.

Thursday at the annual big press conference Putin said that he will go to elections as the independent candidate. Under current law, such a candidate will have to collect not less than 300 thousand signatures of voters, and each region should have no more than 7.5 thousand. Parties (except the Parliament) have to collect 100 thousand signatures in support of nominating a candidate, not more than 2,5 thousand signatures in one subject of the Russian Federation.
