«Gazprom» has increased gas exports to 184,2 billion cubic meters

«Gazprom» from 1 January to 15 December, increased gas export to far abroad by 8.3% compared to the same period of the previous year — to 184,2 billion cubic meters, the report said «Gazprom».

«Gazprom» from the beginning of the year exported to foreign countries 184,2 billion cubic meters of gas — 14.1 billion cubic meters (8.3 per cent) more than in the same period of 2016, and to 4.9 billion cubic meters more than in the record year of 2016 (179,3 billion cubic meters)», — stated in the message.

Since the beginning of December, Gazprom increased gas export by 8.2% compared to the same period of the previous year to 9.2 billion cubic meters. To achieve the objective to export gas in 2017 192 billion cubic meters, announced by CEO Alexei Miller, «Gazprom» continued to supply to the EU total of 7.8 billion cubic meters of gas before the end of the year.

In addition, gas supplies to Germany exceeded the volume of deliveries last year. «From January 1, to December 15, 2017, Gazprom supplied the country 50.5 billion cubic meters of gas. The increase compared to the same period of 2016 — 7.5% (3.5 billion cubic meters),» — said in the message.

Also increased the volume of gas supplies to Austria — by 39.3%, Czech Republic — by 27.2%, Slovakia — 23.5%, France 6.1%, Netherlands — 7%, Denmark — 2.2%.

In 2016, «Gazprom» has increased gas supplies to far abroad by 12.5% — more than 179,3 billion cubic meters, which was a historical high.

At the end of November, the Chairman of the Board «Gazprom» Alexey Miller has informed that the company in 2017 expects an absolute record for the export of gas to far abroad — 192 billion cubic meters.
