The administration of the President of the United States Donald trump is promoting a strategy that may thwart the plans of Boeing and Airbus for the sale of hundreds of aircraft to the Iranian airlines, according to the Wall Street Journal, citing American officials.

According to the newspaper, the US administration is concerned that Iranian airlines are unable to use the new or old civilian planes to send weapons and troops to Syria. Options that will represent the Trump, include a ban on the sale and the imposition of harsh conditions that can stop the supply of the aircraft.

According to the publication, the supply to Iran of aircraft, the European aircraft manufacturer Airbus, based in France, can be stopped by US due to the large number of components of American manufacturing.
