The ex-President of Georgia, former Governor of the Odessa region Mikhail Saakashvili gave the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko a letter in which offers to reconcile, reports the website of the Television news service (TSN) Ukrainian TV channel «1+1» with reference to sources.

Earlier, Saakashvili declared the need to negotiate with Poroshenko.

«Poroshenko has this letter. Mike offers de-escalation», — stated in the message.

In Saakashvili’s team stated that it did not know whether their leader is Poroshenko. «I did not know. We have reconciliation, if they fulfill all our requirements: it anti-corruption court, the election law, the law of impeachment and the resignation of the Prosecutor General», — quotes the words of the TSN member of Saakashvili’s party «new force» Yury Derevyanko.

Saakashvili, was detained in Kyiv on December 5 within the framework of the criminal case on the assistance of members of the criminal organizations and concealment of their criminal activity. The Prosecutor’s office filed a complaint against the refusal of the court to take Saakashvili under house arrest.
